Awards will be conferred on the winners at a special five star gala event which will take place immediately after the second day of the conference. The event will bring together the designated representative delegations of the institutional awardees, the individual awardees and their guests, Ministers of (Higher) education and regulators of the academia from several African sovereign jurisdictions, representatives from some of the most renown academic institutions in the world, academic entrepreneurs and executive level managers of both public and private academic institutions, representatives of key stakeholders in academic activities, users of academic research, major employers of the academic graduates, civil society leaders, the diplomatic corps and the international media. Indeed it is billed as one of the largest gatherings of top tier executives and practitioners in Africa’s academia as well as key stakeholders, to ever converge for one event.

Thus it provides a unique networking opportunity for networking among academic executives and practitioners, as well as selected top tier stakeholders in an ambient atmosphere. Award winners will be conferred with plaques and citations and will have the opportunity to leverage on their awards and the attendance of the international media to affirm their positions as preferred destinations/providers of academic excellence to a pan African and indeed wider global audience.
